Dating and online dating can be hard enough but if you’re a black woman looking to meet a black man then you want to use a site that will help you find that man. That being said there are still a ton of dating sites out there and do you really want to waste your time signing up for them all…of course not. While we haven’t quite worked our way through reviewing all of the dating sites out there we have put together a list of the best dating sites for black women.
Black Cupid
This is probably the biggest and best black dating site on the internet, it is specifically designed for the black community and it has millions of members. You can create a free profile but to access all of their features you will have to pay. The site has loads of features and you can let potential matches know that you want to get to know them by hitting the interest button. You can chat or video message with potential matches. It is a great site to meet local singles.
eHarmony
This site has been around forever and was originally created by a psychologist, they boast the highest number of relationships stemming from their site and that includes black couples. They have specific categories for African Americans and they use an algorithm created by a psychologist to help you find a compatible match. They have tons of features on the site to help you and it is one of the few dating sites that screens members.
Black People Meet
With more than a million visitors to the site it is a great platform to meet the man of your dreams. It is super easy to use and you can get started for free but again the paid version unlocks all of the features. Unlike sites like eHarmony it is not just people looking for long term relationships they have people searching for casual dates as well. It caters primarily to the black community but it will allow other people of other ethnicities who are looking for black partners.
MELD
MELD is an app that caters to black professionals, created by black entrepreneurs but as of now it is only available on mobile phones. It takes advantage of location based services to show you other black professionals in your community.
